Augurex’s lead technology, AGX-020 is a novel biomarker of arthritis which is being developed as a simple blood test to help doctors accurately assess the degree of disease activity, thereby providing an alternative to subjective clinical disease measures. Additionally, AGX-020 may provide physicians with a tool to manage their rheumatoid arthritis patients more effectively by determining which patients are responding to biological therapy.

Augurex identifies early-stage biomarkers and focuses on their scientific and clinical advancement by integrating novel research and development methods in partnership with scientific, clinical and commercial collaborators. The synergies gained by these partnerships allow for an accelerated understanding of the biomarker’s clinical uses and rapidly provide physician and patient access to the blood test.
